people, garbage and beachs here in rio

I just came from leblon's beach. so beautiful but so dirty. People here do not use the dumps. People here do not take their garbage to put in appropriate place.
We pay for publice cleansing, so, as much we soil more we pay to clean. And even paying, people still make the city be a filth.
Daily, from 60 to 70 tons of garbage are removed from beaches in Rio (in high season). Saturdays: from 100 to 120 tons. Every Sunday: 150 to 180 tons.
Every hour, people drop half ton of garbage on the beach.

Statesman?

The president of our country receives the award Statesman Global 2009 in Davos.Statesman? Buy who does not know. Analysts say: we are facing a crisis of democracy, a crisis of institutions, the quality of brazilian politicians lower the quality of all other representations and also a low measure of satisfaction of society. The ôtoridades give the worst examples (executive, legislative, judicial). The 'steals but makes' from Adhemar de Barros turns to steal a lot and pretend that's fine and is decent. Summer delight, programming blocks at Rio, 2 questions and 1 order it to be!

It's summer, it's carnival. Warmth, joy and passion are on the rise. Wath a delicius! Anything can happen. And for sure water, sunscreen and condoms matches the season and the revelry.

Filtered water to drink and hydrate the body. Sunscreen to protect skin, suffering like a dumb with high temperatures and burns even without being on the beach. Condoms to prevent diseases and unplanned pregnancies, of course ...

Water, sunscreen and condoms should have reduced tax at this time, after all, are essential to enjoy the summer and carnival with basic security for body, skin and future.

Bueno, to do not lose the booty, i get the street's blocks programming  for those who are at my wonderful  city [that is almost a piggery by so much  garbage dropped on the sidewalks, sand, water].

landslides and floods

Landslides and floods are occurring in different places in Brazil. Rio, Duque de Caxias, Angra dos Reis, Nova Iguaçu, at Rio de Janeiro; Várzea do Tietê, Cunha, Vale do Paraiba, at Sao Paulo; at Santa Catarina. It is raining a lot, and this summer is expected to be with much heat and much more rain.
The rain will still be blamed for many more tragedies? Rain is not subject to this case.
In the news, journalists and publishers insist on blaming the rain (rain disrupts, rain floods, rain kills), and take the opportunity to swell the audience of the media exploiting the appeal of por the the victims. And it helps? No. Help show the decoration of the party’s end at the inn hit by landslides in Ilha Grande, Angra, the video posted on the website of the girl who died, the memories of friends, or just satisfy the morbid human curiosity and yield more?
What helps is to constrain what they fail to make on public officials: housing, education, welfare, planning, urban management, geotechnical, drainage, garbage collection.
In the thrill jointly, although we are unable to claim the proper application of public money from who has the obligation to care for the environments in which we live. They are the authorities (that i call ôtoridades) we elect, who have the technical government agencies, but prefer to do bad politics, to create elections folds and to leave the population unprotected at a drift of what is actually natural. What is not natural is people build, operate and/or live where should not, where we can not build, where it is not safe to live or holidays.

sorry, but it's in portuguese...

we can not blame the rain

A tragedy ocorrured at the begining of this new year here at the state i live. People died and some others are eithout a place to live, lost everything. The rain was blamed but the fault is not the rain!
