Brazilian mayors lying to Pope

It's surreal the letter that brazilian mayors handed Pope Francisco. They wrote that "the 5,570 brazilian mayors are undertaking efforts to ensure that the excluded population can overcome the situation of vulnerability, such as strategic public policies for social inclusion covering education, health, housing, sanitation, public transport, income generation, employment, entrepreneurship and cooperatives. " Say what?

Most majors in Brazil did not implement the National Solid Waste Policy, didn't deliver Education Plan, has no “Agenda Local 21”. These three examples are enough to show that it's not exactly as it was written.

In São Paulo, water sources are grounded to building’s construction, the mayor gave up the vehicle inspection, authorized housing construction in watershed areas , allowed the removal of trees. In Rio de Janeiro , trees are cut up because they hinder the resident’s view, the mayor changed an environmental protection area for a golf course, cut more than 200 trees in Flamengo Park , a Conservation Unit, with no society participation .

Brazil is experiencing a water collapse. Tell me, in wich brazilian city we do not use rivers, lakes and beaches as a sewage dump? Since our authorities are compulsive liars to brazilian citizens they do not care if it was a sin to write some little lies to the Pope. What a shame...

See these trees, were dying and already cut up, and so near Rio's City Hall.
